Robert Moore Appointed CHS Technology Director

Robert Moore has joined the Cuyahoga Heights Schools as Technology Director. Moore comes from Lorain County Joint Vocational School (LCJVS) where he has been a technology support analyst since 2001. He wrote the district’s Technology Plan, managed its E-rate Program, provided professional development to staff, and managed the district distance learning program. 

Prior to LCJVS, Moore was a technology manager for the Center of Leadership in Education from 1998-2001. He managed the organization’s servers and provided technology support, professional development, and multimedia coordination, as well as managed distance learning programs.  

He has an Associate’s Degree in Network Communications Technology from Lorain County Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Communications Technology from the University of Akron. He is also preparing for CISCO (CCNA) certification, which is an industry standard.

“Robert Moore comes to us with 20 years of experience and brings with him a diverse background in school technology integration,” noted Superintendent Tom Evans. “We look forward to Robert contributing to our commitment to prepare our students to ‘Reach New Heights!’"
