Regional Contest Winner to Compete at State Level

Cuyahoga Heights High School senior Bryce Navarra emerged from the regional Business Professional of America (BPA) competition to compete at the state level.

Navarra, who is enrolled in the Programming & Software II program at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, was part of a team who competed in the Website Design category. Participants in the regional contest included teams from Parma Senior High, Normandy, Bedford, Maple Heights, and Chagrin Falls.

Navaera’s  team’s outstanding performance earned them the opportunity to compete in the same category in the state BPA contest to be held March 9 and 10 in Columbus. "I am packing a portable projector and a laptop in order to perform my presentation, as well as dressing professionally," said Navarra about his preparations for the competition. He is the son of Robert and Diane Navarra of Valley View.
