The end of the school year marked a new beginning for Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School’s fifth graders who will move to the middle school as sixth graders in August. They were celebrated in an end-of-the-year ceremony on June 4, 2026 in the Paul L. Baumgardner Auditorium.

Recipients of the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence were: Avery Conte, Joshua Dunnell, Colson Friedt, Maximus Gilbert, Sophia Gindlesperger, Ava Hawthorne, Willow Holzworth, Vincent Jackson, Julie Liu, Penelope Rodemann, Camila Rodriguez, Amelia Sheppard, Anthony Travaglianti, and Nora Valentine .

Receiving the Presidential Award of Educational Achievement were: Michael Kadas, Jonah Lang, Olivia Herman, Stella Holzworth, Aarushi Patel, Noah Samerigo, Michael Stepka, and Josephine Wyman. 

Recipients of the Cathy Ditzel Award were: Colson Friedt, Sophia Gindlesperger, Michael Kadas, and Nora Valentine.
